FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
DaFoDiL® Does X12
Bowman Interface Technologies, Inc. has announced that their DaFoDiL®
data format description language is now able to read and write X12 837 formatted
data in native X12 format.
The new X12 functionality expands DaFoDiL® capabilities,
allowing for changes to be made in DaFoDiL® files by directly
referencing the X12 structure as is currently done with both form and record
based data. The X12 837 format is the basis of the new HIPAA transaction
sets that are required for use in all medical transactions starting in October
2003.
Prior to this announcement DaFoDiL® was capable of reading
any type of form based data and any type of record data.
DaFoDiL® was developed by Bowman
Interface Technologies to provide a means of separating data from programmer's
application code.
